Dr. Shaina DiMariano

Dr. Shaina DiMariano is the owner of DiMariano Family Dentistry, where she has been delivering exceptional patient care since 2007. With a career in dentistry spanning more than two decades, Dr. DiMariano leads her practice with a clear and unwavering vision: that every patient deserves her full attention and the very best care at every appointment.

Inspired by watching her father practice dentistry with warmth, skill, and genuine connection, Dr. DiMariano knew early on that this would be her path. Drawn by the opportunity to help people and make a meaningful difference in her community, she has never lost sight of that calling. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry.

Dr. DiMariano believes that a fulfilled team is the foundation of outstanding patient care, and she is deeply committed to fostering an environment where her staff can thrive—personally and professionally. Beyond her own practice, she is a sought-after educator, teaching fellow dentists on composite bonding technique and practice management, and serves as a Key Opinion Leader for dental product development and testing. She was also invited to join Solventum Dental's Council for Innovative Dentists, where she contributed her expertise to shape the future of dental materials and technology.

When she's not in the practice, Dr. DiMariano is an enthusiastic commissioner of her fantasy football league and her family's biggest fan at baseball games and swim meets. She is actively involved in her community, serving on the Boards of Directors for the Broadstone Barracudas swim team, Folsom Tourism & Economic Development, and the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. And for a fun fact? Before finding her calling in dentistry, she started college as an English and Theater major and once dreamed of making it onto Star Search as a hip-hop dancer. 

Nicole

Office Manager

If you have a question at DiMariano Family Dentistry, chances are Nicole has the answer, and if she doesn't, she'll find it. As the office manager, Nicole is the steady, knowledgeable presence that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and she takes genuine pride in making sure both patients and team members always feel supported and taken care of.

Nicole's dental career spans nearly three decades, beginning in Seattle in 1996 and culminating in 2016 with her joining the DiMariano Family Dentistry team. That depth of knowledge is something patients feel right away, especially when it comes to navigating the often confusing world of dental insurance. Nicole has a real gift for breaking down complex coverage questions into clear, manageable answers, turning what can be a stressful conversation into a straightforward one.

When she's not in the office, Nicole is almost certainly outside and on the move. She trail runs, cycles, skis, and hits the gym regularly, and counts Yosemite and Hawaii among her favorite places to recharge. She also loves to read. But perhaps the most charming detail about Nicole? She takes her little senior dog along for her road bike rides — tucked happily into a backpack and loving every mile. Nicole is also an ambitious cyclist who aims to complete at least one century ride per year, with her ultimate goal being the legendary California Death Ride: 120 miles of road with over 11,000 feet of climbing. Not exactly a Sunday stroll!

Brooke

RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Brooke is the kind of hygienist who makes you feel completely at ease the moment she introduces herself. Honest, approachable, and genuinely caring, she has a natural ability to connect with patients and create an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and yes, even admitting it's been a little longer than it should have been since their last cleaning. No judgment here!

Brooke earned her dental hygiene degree from Carrington College and has been practicing since 2019. She'll tell you that dentistry wasn't exactly a lifelong dream; it just felt right when the opportunity came along. She wanted a career that allowed her to work with people and make a real difference in their lives, and that's exactly what she found. What keeps her energized every day is the team around her: a group of driven, hardworking individuals who genuinely look out for one another and share the same commitment to exceptional care.

Outside of the office, Brooke is a self-described organizer—the kind of person whose spaces are perpetually tidy and whose friends probably rely on her more than they admit. She enjoys long walks, staying active, and cherishing quality time with her loved ones. And if you ever need an icebreaker, ask her about the time she dominated her sixth-grade chess tournament. Apparently, the competitive streak runs deep!

Stephanie

RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has been passionate about oral health and patient care since earning her dental hygiene license in 2022 from Carrington College in Boise, Idaho. Inspired by her aunt, a dental hygienist whose experiences opened her eyes to the rewarding world of dentistry, Stephanie knew early on that she wanted to combine her desire to work in healthcare with her natural ability to connect with people. She joined the DiMariano Family Dentistry team in 2023 and has been an integral part of the practice ever since.

As a hygienist, Stephanie's role goes far beyond cleanings. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health through preventive care, patient education, and early detection, all while creating a warm, comfortable experience at every visit. She has a special place in her heart for patients who struggle with dental anxiety, and there is nothing she loves more than watching someone leave their appointment feeling informed, cared for, and proud of their smile. Her collaborative spirit and commitment to seamless teamwork make her a valued partner to both the dentist and her fellow staff members.

Outside of the office, Stephanie's world happily revolves around motherhood. She is mom to a busy two-year-old daughter and has a baby boy on the way—so life is full, joyful, and wonderfully rewarding. When she does find a quiet moment, you'll likely find her curled up with a good book or a show she loves. And if you want to instantly connect with her, just bring up Disney—she is a true fan through and through!

Rachel

RDH - Registered Dental Hygienist

Rachel brings both a gentle touch and a genuine passion for patient care to every appointment at DiMariano Family Dentistry. Growing up in a family of nurses, healthcare was always a natural part of her world, and when it came time to choose her own path, dentistry stood out as the perfect blend of patient care, education, and prevention. It was, as she puts it, simply the right fit.

Rachel began her dental career in 2011, earning her degree from the Shasta College Dental Hygiene Program before completing her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Foothill College. She joined the DiMariano Family Dentistry team in 2023 and has been a valued part of the family ever since.

What Rachel loves most about her work is the relationships she builds along the way. She takes genuine pleasure in getting to know her patients, helping them feel relaxed and at ease in the chair, and working alongside a team that holds itself to a high standard. For Rachel, a great hygiene appointment isn't just about clean teeth — it's about making sure every patient leaves feeling informed, comfortable, and cared for.

Rachel's dedication to her profession extends well beyond the operatory. She serves on the Board of Directors for the California Dental Hygiene Political Action Committee, where she advocates for dental hygienists, patient access to care, and the future of the profession as a whole, a commitment that speaks volumes about the kind of practitioner she is.

Outside of work, Rachel is deeply involved in her community, serving as PTA Treasurer at her child's school and cheering them on as an enthusiastic sports mom. Abbi

RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Abbi has been passionate about dentistry since long before she ever set foot in a dental office. Growing up surrounded by family members and close friends in the dental field, she developed a deep appreciation for oral health early on, and a desire to help others take better care of themselves, too. That calling led her to pursue her training at the FADE Institute in El Dorado Hills, and she has been making a difference for patients ever since.

Abbi joined the DiMariano Family Dentistry team in 2020, bringing with her the skills and dedication she has built since beginning her dental career in 2018. As an RDAEF2, Abbi plays a vital role in keeping your appointments running smoothly and efficiently. 

What Abbi loves most about her work is simple: helping people feel better. Whether that means relieving discomfort, enhancing a smile, or guiding a patient through orthodontic treatment, she finds deep fulfillment in every aspect of patient care. She describes her team as family, and that sense of connection and mutual support shines through in everything she does.

When she's not in the office, you'll likely find Abbi outdoors, enjoying rafting, rock climbing, snowboarding, or off-roading, depending on the season. She is also a talented jewelry silversmith, crafting her own silver pieces in her spare time. And if you really want to impress her, ask about her reading list. Abbi is an avid reader who devours 50 to 60 books a year!

Jenni

RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Jenni has been a dedicated member of the dental field since 2013, when she launched her career through the CSROP Dental Careers program as a senior in high school. Drawn to dentistry by her love of hands-on patient care and the rewarding experience of being part of a healthcare team, she has spent over a decade building her skills and making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. She joined the DiMariano Family Dentistry family in 2022 and has been a valued part of the team ever since.

What Jenni loves most about her work is the ability to provide quality care in a positive, supportive environment. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and at ease, while collaborating with a team that shares her commitment to excellence, organization, and mutual respect.

Outside of the office, Jenni is a creative soul with a passion for crafting, thrifting, and cooking. She has a particular talent for hand and machine embroidery and sewing — a hobby that speaks to her patience and attention to detail. And if you really want to get her talking, bring up sharks! She is an avid shark enthusiast and finds them absolutely fascinating.

Sandy

RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Sandy has been passionate about dentistry since 2004, inspired by her own positive experience with her first dentist. Trained in Sacramento, CA, she brings over two decades of expertise to her role at Dimariano Family Dentistry, where her top priority is helping patients feel at ease throughout their treatment.

Outside the office, Sandy loves exploring the outdoors through camping and has a deep appreciation for music. She cherishes every moment spent with friends and family, bringing that same warmth and care to every patient she sees.

Abby

Front Office Coordinator

Abby is often the first friendly face you'll see when you walk through the doors at DiMariano Family Dentistry, and that's no accident. She takes great pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment at the front desk, making sure every patient feels comfortable and at ease from the moment they arrive. From greeting patients and assisting with forms and payments to keeping the reception area neat and inviting, Abby works hard to ensure your visit gets off to a great start.

Growing up with family in the dental field naturally drew Abby to this work, and she loves that her role allows her to directly support both patients and teammates every single day. She finds genuine joy in helping people navigate their dental experience and making sure their needs are met with kindness and efficiency.

Outside the office, Abby is an active, creative soul. She has played soccer for years and loves the energy and teamwork the sport brings. She also has a heartfelt hobby of making custom blankets for friends and family, each one a personal, handcrafted gift made with care. And here's a fun fact that might surprise you: Abby has a deep passion for agriculture and has spent years training and showing farm animals!
