Dentists in Folsom and Sacramento, CA
We would like to introduce you to our staff. These are the people that help give our practice the friendly, warm feeling we strive for, while giving you the best possible dental care. Our team is committed to continuing education and keeping up with the best products and techniques in dentistry.
Dr. Jeff DiMariano
Dr. DiMariano earned his D.D.S. from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1981, graduating with honors. He moved to Sacramento to begin practicing and continued intensive studies in orthodontics, building a family practice that also provides braces, Invisalign and TMJ treatment.
He is extremely passionate about all aspects of dentistry and strives to stay current on new techniques and technology. He balances his continuing education to provide the best dentistry possible for his patients. Over the years, he has sponsored youth athletic teams and has recently become a participant in “Smiles For Kids”, an important program that provides dentistry for underprivileged children. In addition, he has volunteered as an instructor through UOP, overseeing dental students providing care in underserved communities.
Dr. DiMariano has a passion for motorcycles and cars. He travels several times a year to attend trade shows and racing events. He also developed an interest in theater while in dental school and now attends the Oregon Shakespeare Festival annually. He is very devoted to his family, which makes him delighted that his daughter has joined him in practice. He now spends his days off work adoring his 2 year old grand-daughter--and future dirt bike buddy--Claire.
Dr. Shaina DiMariano
Like her father, Dr. DiMariano earned her D.D.S. from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2004, graduating with honors. She then joined her father’s practice and followed in his footsteps of continued studies in orthodontics. She has since been active in “Smiles For Kids” and “Adopt A Kid”, programs that provide dentistry to underprivileged children. Her value in education and giving back led her to teach first year dental students at UOP dental school, which she hopes to continue in the future.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also serves on the California Dental Association's Peer Review Committee, and the leadership committee for FLYP (Folsom's Leading Young Professionals), and is an active volunteer for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.
In her free time, Dr. DiMariano loves watch sports and explore local restaurants. She is an avid football and baseball fan and plans on passing that down to her daughters. She has always loved the performing arts and enjoys dance and her years attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with her father. Dr. DiMariano is devoted to volunteering in the community, including annual donations to the Twin Lakes Food Bank and spending time educating parents and students at local schools. She especially loves children and enjoys giving them a positive experience at the dental office.
KARRIE (Registered Dental Assistant)- Karrie is the first and last person you see at your appointments, which is wonderful because our patients love her. She has been with us for over 25 years and has an unsurpassed commitment to the patients, always making sure their needs are being met. We are so grateful for her ability to listen to and care for patients while keeping up with us. Karrie's two sons keep her busy with sports and activities, but she carves out time for herself with her running club. She has completed a half marathon and continues to achieve new goals.
DEBBIE (Dental Assistant)- Debbie has been with this practice from the start and it shows. She is proficient at the front desk as well as in the patient rooms with us. We’ve never seen anything quite like her versatility and ability to multi-task, all while greeting our patients who know her so well. We are thankful for her technical skills that make our jobs easier, along with her charisma that patients love so much. These days, Debbie spends as much time as she can with her grand-daughters and enjoys watching them grow.
BRITTANY (Front Desk Administrator): Brittany is our delightful and extremely caring administrator in Folsom. She has an innate desire to help people and loves coming to work everyday. She has experience working with special needs children in a teaching setting for the Lincoln Unified School District but her dream has always been to help run a dental practice. She is a huge NFL fan, particularly loving her 49ers, as well as Peyton Manning. Taking care of people is a true interest of hers. We feel extremely fortunate to have found her and we know our patients feel the same.
SIMONE (Registered Dental Hygienist): Simone joined our staff in 2008 and has been a vibrant and welcome addition to the offices. After growing up in Santa Rosa, Simone was a Registered Dental Assistant for 6 years before attending the Hygiene program at Sac City. She has experience with children with special needs and teaches continuing education on weekends. It is easy to see that she has become a valuable asset to our office. In her free time, Simone enjoys shopping and time spent at Clearlake. She also adores her infant son Jax and her two Chihuahuas, Vegas and Rio.
SHANNON (Registered Dental Assistant)- Shannon has been assisting us for over 20 years. She has built strong relationships with our patients over the years with her great sense of humor and compassionate heart. Her years working with us have allowed her to know us like the back of her hand, making appointments smooth and relaxing for patients. We love the great dedication and pride she brings to her work everyday. Shannon has 3 sons and is always at a sporting event of some kind when she's not at work. She and her family love baseball and vacationing in Santa Cruz.
CYNTHIA (Registered Dental Assistant)- Cynthia has been with us since June of 2008 and has been a wonderful addition to the staff from day one. She works hard to make our patients comfortable and happy. She has a bubbly personality that will put a smile on your face. She is a Sacramento native and graduate of Maric College. She enjoys working on Orthodontics best and in her free time enjoys spending time with her toddler daughter, watching her cousins play football, and learning to cook with her aunt. Cynthia is our office gamer, always talking about the latest systems and games with our teen patients. She's also a dedicated 49er football fan.
LESLIE (Registered Dental Assistant)- Leslie has been our bright and bubbly assistant since early 2009. She grew up in Elk Grove and graduated from Western Career College in 2007. When asked what led her to dentistry she says that she always struggled with her own smile and she wants to encourage patients and show people how important it is not to take their own smile for granted. As an adult, she took the initiative to complete orthodontics and gain newfound confidence in her smile. We are so pleased to have someone who understands what it means to be a patient and to be a support to ours. In her spare time she is Girl Scout mom to her daughter, Emma, has an toddler son, Wyatt, and she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
KELLI (Registered Dental Hygienist)- Kelli’s passion for dental health stems from her love of helping others. Following the completion of her bachelor’s in Family Relations and Psychology from CSU, Chico, Kelli moved to Southern California as her next life adventure. After some time with a dental office in the oceanfront views of Dana Point, she decided that her calling truly came as a dental hygienist and returned to school at Sacramento’s Carrington College, where she recently graduated with the cohort’s award in Professional Excellence. Her time with programs such as Smiles for Kids and the Mustard Seed School provided a glimpse of the fulfillment to come with serving the dental community. While she misses Orange County beach walks with her husband Brett and their dog Bentley, the Sacramento native is proud to be back home in her community. In her free time, she is obsessed with soul cycle classes, running half marathons, being involved in a book club with her girlfriends, taking visits to Napa and Tahoe, and cheering on the Niners, Kings and Giants.
